mending workshop w/ mia

mia mends workshop held at rule of thirds studio in new paltz, ny on thursday april 16th 6:30pm-8:30pm. no prior knowledge needed! bring your sweaters, socks, scarves, any kinds of knits or wovens, jean. any items that moths have eaten for lunch or things that have holes of any sort. in 2hrs we will cover a few basic visible mending techniques, such as darning, sashiko mending, patching, and even some felting. we will take a look at some contemporary mending artists, and enjoy some bevs. tools and supplies for the workshop will be provided and everyone will go home with a lil' kit to continue mending at home in the future. smaller holes recommended for the workshop but really bring whatever!! if you have any questions feel free to send me an email. sliding scale $45-$65. can't wait!                                                                                                                                                  122 Main Street, New Paltz, NY 12561                                                                                              *max cap 10
